Getting Health Into Life

Sometimes it's like I eat like a hobbit with all the mini-meals I eat in between real-meals. And then sometimes at work I only have 15 minutes to chow down on something. Lately I've been trying out various protein bars, but I haven't found one that's really impressed me yet. Really, my favorite healthy snack right now is blueberries. Or Greek yogurt.

ANYways, anyone have a favorite healthy snack or snack idea?

A fruit or fruits salad, I love mango and pears, so it either mango on its own or a pear-apple salad.
A cappuccino Special K-Bar, they are a bit sweet for me, so I normally just eat half at a time.
Dried or fresh cranberries mixed with some pecans (I usually have chopped ones), about a palm full of each.
Fruit and nuts are a great source of energy! Fruits give you a quick burst of energy and nuts are a bit longer lasting. I love to snack on nuts and fresh fruits, but if you don't want to cart around fresh fruit with you then a trail mix of some sort would work!
So I am subscribed to foodnetwork's daily recipe thing, and they send occasional emails about other things that are related to the season. For instance, 50 quick snack recipes!
